Subject- Request for Starting Scheme for Socio-economic / Rehabilitation of HIV

infected/affected Children and people.

Respected sir,

Drafting an advocacy letter for highest authority of most disciplined and

developed union territory giving us immense pleasure and pressure as lot of hope

is attached with this letter.

It gives pleasure to learn about schemes and steps taken by administration under

your direction for destitute children and vulnerable class. But it gives immense

pain to know that not a single scheme or step is implemented for socio-economic

empowerment /rehabilitation for HIV affected Children and people to

safe guard them against " Economic Death " by any of concern

department under your aegis.

With deep resentment and regret I have to say concern departments, neither have

vision nor have missionary zeal to develop any scheme, models for the

rehabilitation of people infected/affected with HIV. Our own develop program

and model of socio-economic empowerment for HIV infected/affected people " Sewa

Sadan " was given tepid response.

I would like to attract your attention on scheme implemented by Himanchal

Pradesh copy of it is attached with the letter. We would like to have better and

effective replica of it in Chandigarh.

You have always shown empathy to vulnerable section, your announcement of any

program /scheme on World AIDS day for HIV infected /affected Children and people

will like Christmas gift to us.
