Holly,

We are also an hour ahead of them and we are planning

on leaving around 7 pm since has to work but we

both have a lead foot and we are driving from Georgia.

Sunday afternoon we should be there in Iowa, I guess

however we want to meet up is ok with us. Just let me

know I don't really have any place to be except for

Monday, (oops- Kristofer just stated that HE HAS TO GO

SWIMMING!!!!) We can fit swimming in later that night.

Ruth and Holly,

We don't have any plans - other than watching the Packers game that

afternoon. Does meeting around 6:30 or 7:00 sound too late for either

of you?

Holly,

According to our directions from aol they are saying

it is going to take only 13.5 hours but somehow we

find that impossible because when we lived in Ohio it

us 9/10 hours. We are checking with AAA on Monday.

Our family schedule is open that night. Kristofer has

told us that he wants to go swimming this time but we

just found out that 's hours just got cut back so

he doesn' t have to be back at work till Thursday so

Kristofer has plenty of time to go swimming. We

probably will leave Tuesday but our plan isn't

airtight. That time will probably work for us, it

looks like Holly and her family will be staying at the

Clarion also.

On our first trip to Iowa last year we looked up the length and time on the

internet also, it told us approx. 10 hours. I think it took into

consideration time of year (with regard to road construction) and also speed

limits. We have tended to be a little " lead footed " ourselves and try not to

stop for too long when we do have to stop. So.....we have always made it in

about 7-8 hours. Coming home for some reason has always taken us longer

,probably because we make more stops because the girls hate being back in

the car again.
