Guest guest
Fibromyagia is a chronic disease,it isn't going to go away, most docs, meaning mine, don't want you on long term pain meds. Which in a way I understand. But in a way I don't understand. Before I was diagnosed with fibro, I was taking 8 Tylenol a day which usually didn't touch it, and on my bad days, I was taking ibuprofen with that. Which didn't help. I would go to Sams Club and buy the big bottles of Tylenol that were two for one!! That is 1,000 pills. I cant remember how long that they would last. But thats a lot of pills. So finally, I am taking 6 Tramadol a day. It helps, it doesn't take away it all, but I can get stuff done, on my bad days, no it doesn't help, he wont give me anything stronger, he says, not for fibro. But now he wants me to stop taking the Tramadol, what am I supposed to do then?? I am allergic to Lyrica, tried Cymbalta and Neurontin and Savella, they got me sicker than heck. I was on all three for more than 6 months hoping the sickliness would go away, but it didn't. I don't know what to do, I am very frustrated with him, and I don't know what to do??
