Guest guest
Hi Group, I went ahead and went back to work. In the few days I was back I made sure to not work all day as I am not physically up to it. I would do one hour and then rest then go home. I did that for a couple days but on a third day I went ahead and worked after rest. I then went on a business trip. I have found that I am fine until noon and then it is downhill and I have to rest a couple to three hours. I also learned I do not bounce back nearly as much as I would like after I wake up from a nights sleep. I believe I did things fast and will have to return to a shorter work day once I head back home from the East Coast to the Midwest. I do not have any idea if I will find away to bounce back better than I am at this time. I do know I fear going on disability. I will have trouble doing that as I am not just an owner in my family's business but also an employee. It is my paycheck that covers just about everything at my house, medical ect. At least the amitriptylne is still a help. I do not see the rhematologist until November and even then it is in doubt she would treat me. Another patient of hers I know has to see someone else for fibromyalgia treatment. I have stopped seeing my pain doctor and the amitriptylne was prescribed by my personal physican. I stopped trusting my pain doctor the first hit was telling me to go off the citaliphram in a day. Thank goodness I checked with my personal doctor and the pharmacy and instead took 6 days to get off of it. The second thing against my pain doctor was the near seratonin syndrome I got from taking Savella. That did it and I was done with him. I am back on the citaliphram and as stated taking the amitriptylne. Now I just have to keep easing back into work. I am thankful that I did not at least feel as nasty on this business trip as I did last September. I needed Salon Pas then on all the time just to survive that trip. This year I still have room for improvement and that will of course take more time and patience. Take care all, Christy
