I've had a couple of EMG's myself... hated them. Wanted to kick the doc

where he'd feel it the worst/best/most. But he had electric needles to put

in me.... I tolerated it.

Here's a suggestion one friend of mine with a mild form of Muscular

Dystrophy did: Since her daughter's symptoms were like her own, but more

severe, the EMG was done on the mother. Inconclusive, but they'd thought it

might show something, extrapolating out same results for each of them.

Just a thought.... The muscle biopsy, they're out for, usu. a very short

acting med, I think Versed was used for Staci... Worked just fine with no

side-effects.

Take care, and enjoy the car trip. Especially with VCR... And

plenty of rest stops, favorite toys, etc. Well worth the effort.
