Guest guest
, I'm glad the attack was not a big one and you were able to go shopping and enjoy yourself a little. I'm quite curious as to whether the doctor who calls these panic attacks gave you anything to take when you are having these attacks. I would panic too if I started feeling what you feel and couldn't get any help. I still think you need to ask your PCP to call Dr Cohen.... even if it means you pay for the call. Either that, or start searching for a PCP who will do this for you. Also.. print the information from the links on this site and take it to the doctor. I found the hardest thing in all this was dealing with doctors who were so sure they had the answers and I've seen a few myself. They are totally unwilling to listen and certainly afraid that you might be trying to teach them something. If they are not teachable, I'm not interested. had an experience with a doctor who was only supposed to check her hearing. The MDA recommended that she see this doctor so she went. He was ready to diagnose her right there on the spot with excess spinal fluid that needed to be drained from her spinal column. He doubted the results of the muscle biopsy that clearly states the Mito. Instead..he said " If it walks like a duck and looks like a duck, it's not a goose. " She left his office crying but the MDA doctor was very apologetic and told her he would not ever send her back to him. Some doctors are just arrogant. You have to find the right ones. It's a job, I know. Alice
Guest guest
--Yes the dr. gave me Xanax which I use very sparingly. I've been thinkjing about changing pcp, but then I would have to explaine my whole story and insurance code for a new dr. Mostly I would have to find a dr. willing to take me on. I'm going to do some research for a good dr. on my plan. There are some good drs. and many bad ones. It's a process of elimination to weed out the bad ones. Sometimes I feel like slapping a doctor upside his head and tell him stop acting like a know it all, but then I remember I'm a christian and it's not nice so slap anyone HEE! HEE! I do have to say that my husband and my daughter called me at 10 oclock to see how I was and that helped too. I've been trying not to complain these days and I've noticed they are asking about me. Thanks for all the tips - In @y..., Alice <cialicea@c...> wrote: > , > > I'm glad the attack was not a big one and you were able to go shopping and > enjoy yourself a little.
