Dear Colleagues,

A small clarification on this press report- We checked with Taran

Taran Police. All these 178 cases and the petition pending in the High

Court pertain to Hepatitis, and not to HIV.

We are engaging with the concerned institutions to ensure more

accurate reporting in future. (Nevertheless, we are also stepping up

support to Taran Taran police for enhancing the response to HIV

related concerns).
