The series " Where there is a will there is an A " is on of the best secrets I found to help me with learning. I also used tape recorder for notes and you could probably get one of those magnifier you can put over page by page to help with the eye strain. Yellow or Blue plastic covers also helps and teacher resource stores have them. Most of these textbook companies have a companion CD or you can go to their website and the textbook will be online with study tips, flash cards etc. Prentice Hall and Pearson are just some examples if you want to check it out. I ended up having to get an eye drop prescription, Pataday, that helped me the best. I don't know if that would help you. When I was taking my graduate teaching curriculum and going to seminars, the best one was " Knowing Your Student's Learning Styles " and techniques to enhance them. Singing things you need to know is actually a great way to learn subject material. I came up with some really catchy tunes. None that would make the top ten though. You might just have to look for taller chair for your desk. I always did my homework in the bed with a lap tray. Those are just some things I did and being able to magnify what I had to read or listened to the notes helped me. I hope the best for you. I don't know how I did it and came out with a 4.0 GPA with my chronic pain, my Mother dying and me doing my internship at the same time, I just was a Zombie but got good reviews.
