Heart murmur/ bp 150 at Dr. visit? /plus pain management?

Hello,

 

I have a heart murmur on the left side. I also have had what I always call a

shortness of breath from not doing much. Are they related?

 

My follow up with my regular Dr. last Thursday my blood pressure was 150

compared to like 118 bp. I am going on 49yo in January.  I have had all my blood

work done.  Maybe it was because it was stuffy and humid here on the coast? 

 

Any connection between shortness of breath/ heart murmur and 150 bp?  The nurse

said my Oxygen level was good so maybe everything is ok? 

 

I am also going through menopause along with the Chronic Pain    What fun! 

 

I welcome any ideas or comments as usual

ps.  I am hoping that this Pain Management Dr. that comes to our local Hospital

on Tuesdays can help me deal with this pain.  I haven't had any operations or

anything, except pain meds a couple of years ago.  Now the Oregon insurance has

changed and I have just been using over the counter things that do not help much
