Guest guest
Just a few days ago I noticed I have a grey blue ring around the iris of my eyes. It can't have been there long - it wasn't there at my last eye appointment last spring. I googled (as one does) and it sounds like something called arcus senilis - which is described as deposits in the eye - usually cholesterol, though some articles mentioned calcium. Does anyone know anything about this? Is it possible to stop or even reverse it? Whatever it is, how does one keep cholesterol or calcium or other substances from depositing where they don't belong? Guest guest
one theory: get sufficient in choline and insositol in particular and the b complex in general so your body can make more lecithin. you can also supplement with lecithin itself- usually made from soy but not containing the negative soy stuff. lecithin helps the body break up cholesterol into small pieces so it can be used where needed, not stuck in the circulatory system. perhaps true for eyes as well. the b complex are stress vitamins and a toxic exposure + life stresses can make it so even eating a ton of liver, nutritional yeast and whatever else b-tastic, you still can't get enough and need to supplement. one of the joys of postmodern life. . . i'm actually off to the hfs right now to get my dad some solaray mega b-stress complex, after my breakfast of liver, egg yolks, and milk with nutritional yeast and molasses. . . . desh ____________________________________________________________ Free info on nursing jobs.
