Guest guest
Anybody using this oil? http://emerald-harvest.com/ -- " Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children…. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from a cross of iron. " ~ Dwight Eisenhower
Guest guest
I haven't used it, but I did wonder how far back traditional usage goes (the claim on the site is vague, as is the wiki article). . . . seems more work to manufacture than would have logically happened 7,000 years ago. Also, many seed oils get bitter when used to make mayonnaise or vinaigrette in a food processor or blender (are there other uses for oil?). The smoke point of tea seed oil is enticing. I have trouble filtering my tallow enough to raise the smoke point for occaisional frying. It also had a mouth feel like castor oil. I shudder with revulsion just thinking about it.
