Guest guest
Why are grains like white rice not recommended? In moderation is white rice ok-I'm also trying to remineralize my teeth, and follow a failsafe diet. Is rice high in silica? Is 1/4-1/2 tsp cod liver oil ok on the failsafe diet? fermented products are high in amines so usually not recommended. I'm looking for a source of calcium is there a lead free dolomite calcium? or would egg shell calcium be lead free? Thanks Chris
Guest guest
Failsafe doesn't allow any supplements, but a lot of " dedicated " failsafers do take CLO because it is difficult to get enough Vitamin A when on strict failsafe. (See below linked post where my conclusion was " If you come up short, you need to supplement - regardless of whether or not supplementation is " legal " on the diet. " ) My main concern about white rice would be that you're wasting your precious calorie allowance on an empty food. It is difficult to get enough nutrition on failsafe unless you far exceed 2000 calories. I posted this rundown back when I quit the failsafe diet: /message/95446 -Lana " There is nothing more useful than sun and salt. Guest guest
On a tape Sally Fallon said that even though the Japanese don't eat much cholesterol, they get enough because they eat a lot of white rice, which is easily converted to cholesterol. So I've been adding it in with my brown rice and sometimes just by itself to get some cholesterol into my vegan son.
