Hi All,

Okay, so today is the 4th day in a row during which I have sat for up to 8

friggin' HOURS at a desk--either in class, at home in my study area, or in

my office on campus--working, studying, and doing computer-related tasks

(e.g., Facebook, email, et cetera).

My god, I am in SO much pain today. I have been waking up in the morning

earlier and earlier every day the past 3 days in pain, because of the pain.

That is, the pain woke me up. Nope, I didn't get to sleep in this weekend to

catch up on my sleep. No, only got 10.5 hours on Friday night, and 9.5 hours

on Saturday night. That may sound like a lot of sleep to most of you, but to

me that is very little. My body needs approximately 12 hours of sleep per

night to function at a " normal " level.

Last night (Sunday night) I got only 9 hours of sleep. I went to bed at

8:15pm, and my body woke me up in pain at 5:15am this morning. Cr@p. So much

for sleep.

So, today, I am dragging. I feel like I just want to give up, go home (I'm

at work/school writing this), and go lie down in bed. I awoke with a 5 out

of 10 pain level migraine, and a 4 out of 10 level pain in my back and sides

and neck. My migraine is down to a 3 now, thank goodness, but the back and

neck pain has fluctuated between a 5 and a 7 all day. Never got below a 5

except at 6:00 this morning, when it was still a 4. Right now, the back and

neck pain is a 6.5.

Well, enough. I am on the clock, so I have to get back to work. Thanks for

reading. Gentle hugs, shoulder and/or back or neck rubs, and words of

encouragement would be very helpful to me right now.

Thanks for reading, again.

e.h.
