I have been disagreeing with Dr Phil more and more. I think he has over stepped his training with some the topics he has been doing lately. Hi Tami We have to remember that he has to have provacative shows to keep his ratings up. I quit watching him after the first season. It was starting to be like Jerry Springer. Actually, I don't watch any talk shows, not even Letterman. Kaylene
Guest guest
I agree 100%. They are all getting like that. I had become disheartened by a lot of the medical programs. I have noticed that some shows the information provided is one sided. It appears to be what the " public " wants to hear. Many people take information they see, hear or read as complete truth. They read " studies " and believe that the research shows x so it must be true. They do not understand that many studies are inherently skewed by the type of individuals who are willing to participate. They do not get the basics of the population sampled, methods, validity, etc. I have seen news reports that I know are not reporting all the information. It then gives a distorted view of the situation. People should learn to question information, and not be sheep. I quit watching those shows too since they more pissing me off more and more. I get tired of wasting my valuable energy on them. Gentle hugs, Tami > Kaylene wrote: > We have to remember that he has to have provacative shows to keep his ratings up.
