Guest guest Posted December 10, 2008 Report Share Posted December 10, 2008 Is there any such thing as a dehydrator with trays that don't leach toxins into the food? Do all the plastic ones leach? I assume the stainless steel ones leach nickel when acidic food touches them like stainless steel pots do? If there is no such thing as non-toxic trays, what do you think would be less toxic - plastic trays used in the cheaper brands, teflex used in Excaliber or stainless steel?
