Guest guest
Hi Carol, It's nice to meet you too! :-) I'm sorry to hear you have difficulty walking due to pain and a deformed foot! I love to meet other people who can understand what I go through with things such as RSD, even though I don't wish any kind of pain on anyone. Yes, RSD is a challenging thing to deal with. When my RSD first began, long before I knew what was going on and causing pain in my lower neck/upper back, it spread to my left pinkie. It spread to the rest of my body from there over a short time. At first, I wished and prayed the pain had just stayed in my upper back/lower neck and maybe my pinkie lol. I have long accepted it now, though lol. I also work with a wonderful doctor who understands RSD and helps me manage it with medications as well as natural methods such as meditation and breathing. I use the natural methods all the time along with the medications. I know when I'm depressed or stressed it causes my pain to shoot even higher so the natural methods can sometimes help with that too. I try to surround myself with anything and everything positive which also helps with stress and depression along with the pain. Gentle hugs! :-) Love, Becky in NM Carol wrote: It's so nice meeting others here who also have RSD. It's such a challenging disease to deal with every day! I'm dealing with RSD in my left foot following some failed surgeries and also live with a deformed foot which causes pain with every step I take. I work with a wonderful PM doc who helps me manage the pain with meds. I've tried so many things that haven't worked to relieve the pain. What have you both done to help you deal with this disease?
