Guest guest
What's with all these injuries? Mine's a little better today but it still sucks. I hope you recover quickly from this and that the massage is helpful. Sorry this happened to you. Stasia
Guest guest
Tink, Hang in there and make sure you are really healed before working out. Hope the accupuncture helps. I used to go to the neatest accupunturist and it was very helpful for neck/back pain. Guest guest
Sorry to hear that. Get well soon. I've been having terrible shoulder pain the last two days so I can relate. > > i might not answer any threads/questions on here for a while due to > > a dislocated left shoulder that has me typing w/ one hand... hope to be back > > soon! > > > > chris > > > > What? Guest guest
This is a combined reply to everyone. wrote: > Wow, how did that happen? Don't answer now. Thoughts are with you. I slipped on ice outside of a library, threw my hands out in front of me to break my fall, and landed on the pavement, dislocating my left shoulder. I have dislocated three times in the past and had an operation 5-6 years ago to staple the ligaments in place. The magnitude of this dislocation was much less than the others. I have not dislocated it since before the operation. I have learned to type now, but it is still annoying to do so and exhausting to my left arm, so I'll probably wait to respond to any other threads until I'm out of my sling. Thank you for your thoughts. Renate wrote: > Sorry to hear that! I hope you have a speedy recovery. DMSO is great > for that kind of thing. I don't have any DMSO, but I'm doing some nutritional support. Since ligaments are mostly collagen, vitamin C and copper. Zn/Mg for building new tissue/proteins. General support by good diet, fat-soluble vitamins (esp. extra D because of winter), and figuring that good blood vessel function would be needed for nutrient delivery, CoQ10, mixed tocopherols, and tumeric (which supposedly is also anti-inflammatory anyway. wrote: > What?
