Guest guest
Hello all, At the moment I am currently fighting with all my life to have a Polycystic Ovary the right only to be removed I have had very unpleasant side effects of what the GP believes to be a extremely large ovary which is now pushing on my bowel which is causing terrible pain no painkiller which they have given has worked or seemed to work even for a short term, After being told on Monday the General Practitioner is now out of pain medication options he was shocked and hurt to hear that Gyne has told me further more to the believe that Polycystic Ovaries Do not cause pain there is nothing they can do. I asked my General Practitioner to write to my Gyne dr who is at times not understanding of just how bad I am. I asked the General Practitioner could it be purely the ovary or something else he didn't hesitate to say its the ovary in past 3 weeks alone O have rang and or been to the surgery more then 7 times for the same pain and unpleasant side effects. Was it unfair to ask to have my ovary removed they have offered no other medication, Does anyone else suffer with it? If so how do you mange? I know a few of you who I speak to on Facebook have removing it is about the only way to truly help.
