Guest guest
Hey Ya'll, I'm just having a major pain day and had to vent. It feels like the bones in my left wrist are being crushed by an industrial clamp or something. On days like today, I generally tongue-in-cheekly ask if anyone has a machete...you know...to chop off my arm. But someone inevitably reminds me that even if they chopped off my arm, I would still probably have ghost phantom pains. And then I think...if there is a god, boy does he have a sense of humor. Guest guest
Crystal I am so sorry you are having a pain day. Will your doctor do nothing to help? Does soaking it in hot water help at all? I have a paraffin bath thing my sister gave me. A little heating coil in the bottom hidden under the plastic melts the wax to a lovely, tolerable temperature. I dip my hands in it several times a day. Pull them out and let the wax harden - oh the heat is gorgeous - and then peel the wax off and put it back in the bath. Wish I could dip my belly in it when in a flare (Crohn's) or my fibro is particularly irritating. Hope you will feel better VERY soon, like now.
