You might call this bad news, but it's the wisdom I've gained over a lifetime.

I have had roaches three times in my 62 years of life. Here is what I've learned

from having them:

Sewer roaches are nasty critters, the worst and hardiest of all roaches, they

remind me of hornets when they start up with their flying. In dry climates like

Arizona, you only see them when there are floods.

The other roaches, the tiny kind are nasty critters also and they have the life

of an armoured tank in the military shoot up zone, they just don't die.

Any roach is a health hazard

They multipy faster than rabbits in the spring.

Ordinary sprays will not kill them, traps are a wild riot, they only get a few,

and they mulitply daily.

If you live in a duplex or apartment building, be aware that everybody in the

house also has them.

If you don't live in a duplex or apartment, I am told that if a place is

sprayed, there are many who will live outside and migrate to YOUR house.

If you spray anything store bought, they don't die, it takes special chemicals

that last past the next hatch, in 30 days. The foggers work, but eggs last 30

days.

Twice, I had Orkin come and spray for months. Nobody ever got sick, including my

child who was a baby and my dog which was a tiny thing.

The third time, I had a place to go to and little money, so I fogged my

apartment three times. On the third time of fogging, once a week for 3 weeks, a

roach egg was on the kitchen counter, the egg is the ONLY one I ever saw anytime

in my life. It looked like a kernal of corn and out of that kernal, hundreds of

babies hatched and died in their tracks walking across the fogg powder.

I did not get sick from the powder although I did not live in my house during

the three bombings and after the third one, I cleaned like mad and moved

everything out and moved away and I did not take them with me. I didn't take

unhatched eggs because the fogging got the last hatch in it's tracks apartment

wide. I was lucky.

if there is one roach, there are thousands, be aware. Just call Orkin if you can

afford it or go to your parents house for a month and fog. otherwise these

creatures will take over your life.
