Guest guest
I am having bad pain on my right side and excessive burping after a meal. I thinks its a gallbladder problem, I never had this before? When I was on a high fat very low carb diet I had no pain/problems. I have cut out coconut oil (the 3 tablespoons a day i was eating) and added some Burbank potatoes. I am eating less fat. The meal I ate before I had pain/burping was boiled beef chuck roast with butter steamed green beans and boiled mashed potatoes? What do I do? I don't want to have my gallbladder removed! I'm wondering if I'm having trouble digesting carbs or theres some type of enzyme inhibitor in the potatoes? I ate boiled beef first then gr beans and lastly potatoes. Thanks, Chris
Guest guest
I have gall bladder issues. I have used Lidan, a Chinese herb, for over 5 years to keep my gall bladder. I use Plum Flower Herbs. When I first started having problems 5 years ago, my acupuncturist wanted me to have a sonogram. I didn't because I thought she was doing a great job treating it. But, then her assistant explained that she could treat more aggressively if she knew I didn't have gall stones. So, I had one, and did not have stones. The doctor wanted me to have an additional test where I swalled a radio active pill. I passed on that one. Five years later, I still have my gall bladder. I also still have occasional pain, but I feel like I can live with it, because I NEED my gall bladder, no matter what the doctors say. When I heard Sally Fallon speak a few years ago, she talked about taking Swedish bitters for gall bladder support. Something else I've noticed is that coconut oil does not bother my gall bladder. I try to eat two tablespoons 3 times a day also. Limes and lime juice support the gall bladder. Lemon juice supports the liver. The best food for your liver is beets! If you like beets, I suggest beet kvass as well. Improving liver health will help improve gall bladder health. Here is the information for Lidan: Li Dan Pai Shi Pian, Cholagogic and Lithagogue Tablet, is an efficacious formula for the disintegration and removal of gallstones. Principal ingredients: Lysimachia, Oriental wormwood, Scutellaria root, Aucklandia root, Curcuma root, Rhubarb, Areca seed, Immature bitter orange, Magnolia bark, Mirabilite. Actions: Clearing away heat and removing dampness, normalizing the function of the gallbladder and removing calculi. Indications: Use to reduce inflammation in both the gallbladder and liver and promote bile secretion. Also use for ascariasis (roundworm) in the bilary ducts.* Directions: To be taken orally. Removal of stone: 6-10 tablets each time, twice a day; anti inflammation: 4-6 tablets each time, twice a day. Caution: Careful administration to patients with weakness and hepatic dysfunction. Do not use if pregnant. I'm not a medical professional, but I've managed to live with this problem for five years using this information, and continue to eat a higher than average diet of healthy fats. Guest guest
Cooking fats and dairy products. I managed to put mine off for 10 years, but it caught up with me. After surgery, I'm very happy.

That would do me in. Also, a sudden change from higher fat to lower fat can change how the gall bladder squirts out bile. I've posted this before but I like how Dr. Eades explains it. Guest guest
I highly recommend drinking roasted dandelion root tea (Traditional Medicinals brand) 2-3 times per day. It does dehydrate you, though, so drink plenty of water as well. It gets the liver and gallbladder movin'! Also maybe try some bitters and/or digestive enzymes. --- In , " c688217 " <c688217@...> wrote: > > I am having bad pain on my right side and excessive burping after a > meal. > > I thinks its a gallbladder problem, I never had this before? > > When I was on a high fat very low carb diet I had no pain/problems. I have these symptoms when eating fibre / starch, when I went high fat low carb I was amazed at the lack of burping & lack of digestive pain that had been constant for my whole life - I assume lack of digestive enzymes, but supplementing doesn't appear to help, not in the doses available otc anyway. I have just eaten zuchini & onions (with egg & liver), and I'm burping away.... Jewel
Guest guest
Do everything you can naturally before you remove your gall bladder... I have a friend who now has cirrhosis of the liver, not because she is a drinker but because she had her gall bladder out and the liver tried to do what the gall bladder does on an emergency basis but the liver can't do it forever and starts giving out. Talk to your doctor about bile salts, digestive enzymes, hydrochloric acid, etc. and drink your water with lemon juice or apple cider vinegar. I do not have gall bladder problems but I do have digestive problems and I use Priority One Enzy-Gest which is a combination of digestive enzymes and HCL. > > I am having bad pain on my right side and excessive burping after a > meal. > > I thinks its a gallbladder problem, I never had this before? > > When I was on a high fat very low carb diet I had no pain/problems. Guest guest
Lime is for the gall bladder, lemon for the liver, so if you like the taste of lime, it would be better for supporting your gall bladder. Guest guest
I almost forgot the castor oil pack! It is amazing! Massage castor oil in to the area where the liver and gall bladder are, massaging in a clockwise direction. Lay down on your left side and put a 100% cotton cloth on the oil, and a hot water bottle on top of that. Only do this for 5 days in a row and then stop. Guest guest
ever think of doing a liver/gallbladder flush? there is a great book written by s Moritz - The Amazing Liver/Gallbladder Flush, but you don't need to go there in your emergency.I would restrict my diet to very simple to digest small meals, low in fat for the next 3 days with 3 glasses of water per day with 1 Tbsp. raw apple cider vinger, and then drink the olive oil-grape fruit concoction on the third day. I have had extreme pressure that would always get worse after meals in my liver/gallbladder area dissappear instantly after doing a flush. It is very important that you take Magnesium Sulfates (Epsom Salts) as they will dilate the bile ducts and stimulate bowel movements. You can get more information about the flush on curezone.com or msg back and I can provide you with more detailed information.Best of luck!
