The way I have avoided the chunk problem is to make sure all my

ingredients are room temperature and then slowly drizzle the melted

oil through the top of the blender or food processor. I do the same

with honey or it will clump up as well. I can even do it when the

temperatures are cooler this way, but your mileage may vary.

I just melt the coconut oil and slowly add it to the ingredients in the

blender.  I've never had a problem with chunks of the coconut oil even though I

use all of the ingredients fresh out of the fridge.

Sometimes I would get a slight flecking of oil when I used my blender,

but never when using the Vitamix, which is why I qualified my previous

post.
