Guest guest
Maybe around a month - until it starts to get soft or moldy. I've heard a way to keep fresh ginger is to plant it - yes, in the soil. It will send up a green shoot. Dig it up whenever you want to cut a hunk off. I tried this once but I'm not so good with plants and killed it before I could see if it worked. -Patty --- In , " Cray Fish " <crayfishfeed@...> wrote: > > ..in the refrigerator? >
Guest guest
planting it works, but you can also place it in a jar of vinegar in the fridge (keeps ages that way) i prefer rice vinegar for this. . . . my sister swears by keeping it in the freezer and grating it with a microplane or sharp grater. desh ____________________________________________________________ Compete with the big boys.
