Guest guest
Hi , everyone needs to vent, so don't feel like you can't. Have they offered R.F.A. to you? It is called radio frequency ablation and they find the nerve that's causing the pain and burn it. It was offered to me after nothing else worked on my right leg. Good luck and I will pray for you. <dgordonbtvs wrote: >Greetings, Long story, 20 years post jaw surgery to " help " congenital ear and jaw problem, I'm still suffering from pain. Guest guest
Hi, . I am no expert, but I also suffer from many nerves here and there, which are trapped in scar tissues from the 4 surgeries I have had in the past, the last surgery was 20 years ago. I think the sooner they treat the nerve or nerves in question, the less pain there will be for you. I do wish they would perfect the procedure called Neurography soon, so they can actually see where those damaged nerves are and kill the pain for us all. In the meantime, I keep praying that Medicare won't interrupt my own pain medication when we are forced to switch (because hubby will be 65). I feel like I am barely hanging from a thread between functioning and agony for all the pain areas that don't show up on a test result. Once something triggers the " nerve, " my body goes into a cascade of coping mechanisms including muscles spasms, etc.
