Or that the side effects of the narcs outweigh the pain relief?

Rick,

First of all, I stay away from " druggie " words as people do label us if we use

them. I do not get stoned, just sedated but I titer down on my medications (not

drugs or narcs). I have never gotten stoned or high on my medication and my pain

management doctor says that is the difference in a pain patient and druggie.

I also have watched Law & Order and I miss Lenny. I have a treatment plan that

included opoids (medications), ant-inflammatory medication, sleep at night if

needed for my fibromylagia, I also take Provigel which wakes me up and helps me

adjust my sleep cycle.

I also found heat and water therapy helped me. So my three replaced vertabra in

my Lumbar Spine and Sacral Iliac joint that is damaged for life is thankful for

life.

I mean no offense of the terminology but it does effect medical personnel and

others view of us. I hope you get a good pain management plan with other type

of medications that doesn't make you so sedated and so you can do some of the

things you want to. I could not walk if I did not take the medication I do. Good

Luck Rick and hope you find relief some way.

Bennie
