Guest guest
I am so relieved you found some help for the pain. The desk is my particular pain place. I also have my heating pad tied to my tummy with flannel straps I added to the case the pad is in. I have an extension cord on it so I can make it to the front door. It might look odd but anything for the help! Careful about burns, OK? Promise? Guest guest
Thank you, Jeanne!! I also look rather odd walking around in my " get-up " , but I agree, anything to help the pain!! I currently have mine on an extension cord, also, but they also come with 8ft or 10ft cords each, so I can move around pretty freely in them--I just can't get to the kitchen or bathroom or my bedroom in them, so I have to take them off if I have to go to one of those places (which I do often, unfortunately). And yes, I promise, I am being VERY careful about burns!! I pay attention to how hot they get, and I keep them on the settings that are effective but not too hot. If they get too hot, I turn them to a lower setting. Plus, with the automatic self-turn-off after 2 hours, that really helps keep me from being burned (especially when I use them at night when I go to bed). Thank you again for your support and for your response!! e.h. Jeanne B wrote: ..I also have my heating pad tied to my tummy > with flannel straps I added to the case the pad is in. There are heat wraps that can be put in microwave and reusable and moist heating pads. http://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8 & node=3763861 They have many listed online under heat wraps. I also do well with heat and have the microwavable one. I also have put rice in a sock and heat it up but btake care. Bennie > >
