Guest guest
Hi Thanks. Is something wrong with nano technology, also why would Mercola recommend it if it is not good? I thought he knows about the best in health issues. Also I already have glass cookware but it is a bit too heavy for me to use daily and things stick on it. I was looking for something that is light, and does not stick as much as glass, so I thought that ceramic was the best latest thing. I guess there is still room for new healthy inventions in cookware. -- In , " carolyn_graff " <zgraff@...> wrote: > > It is made in China and is made with nano-technology so I'm avoiding it. my favorite type of cookware is Visions glass cookware. you can get it used on ebay. > > > > > > Hi > > Does anyone on the list use the ceramic cookware recommended by Dr. Mercola, > > is it non stick, is it available to purchase in stores, and also what other > > type of cookware is the safest, lightweight, and economical to use? > > > > Thanks > > > > -- > > A New Era of Humanity Begins... 10MillionClicksForPeace.org > > > > > >
Guest guest
here is some info on nano particles http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2008/04/080402104151.htm I once emailed Mercola and got this response: 12/16/2008 12:57:33 PM: Hello and thank you for contacting Mercola.com. We thank you for your inquiry and we appreciate your concern. It starts off as nano particles and then it put under fire and molded into the pan so there is no way that the nano particles can escape. It is similar to making glass with sand. It will not get into your food and you can trust this cookware to be non-toxic. > > > > > > Hi > > > Does anyone on the list use the ceramic cookware recommended by Dr. Mercola, > > > is it non stick, is it available to purchase in stores, and also what other > > > type of cookware is the safest, lightweight, and economical to use? > > > > > > Thanks > > > > > > -- > > > A New Era of Humanity Begins... 10MillionClicksForPeace.org > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Well, that's nice that those particular particles don't escape, but their brethren are multiplying in our environment. In the manufacturing process, in the eventual breakdown of the stuff that has nano-particles in/on it -- they are spreading through the world.
