Lucky you, I can't get my husband to spend two hours sitting with me anywhere,

let alone cater to me.  He's not always this way, but most of the time, I have

to do for myself.  He's just not very thoughtful.  However, it might be a man

thing over all.

That is a great post, Steve! My hubby is very supportive too, and keeps me

That's wonderful, Steve. I wish I had someone to snuggle with. I have a

sweet Dachshund, but she wets the bed!!! LOL

That's a great gal, you have there. Dana Reeve comes to mind.

Please don't blame gender. And definitely don't excuse any behavior because

of gender. For the months after my wife's T4 to L5 spinal fusion until she

was able to move on her own and I started to get sick, I waited on her hand

and foot. I spent hours laying next to her when the meds just wouldn't work

or the doctors decided to " tweak " the dose and she dealt with the agonizing

pain.

Since these posts don't include inflection, I have to tell you that I am NOT

upset or angry.

It goes to show non stress ful situations tend to allow our bodies to calm

thereselves and reduce pain. My husband and I just ate a big bowl of homemade

popcorn with butter and salt and watched horror movies that are on. It creates a

bond and makes me feel I am part of the world and I feel better when he is
