I would not use graniteware for K-tea. If the porcelain is damaged by

the acid, the metal will destroy your scoby. We often find sun tea

jars at second hand stores, and we scoop them up whenever the spigot

is in good shape. These are great for continuous brewing. Otherwise, I

beg gallon glass jars off local restaurants and use these.

I have used very similar ones that I got from Wal-Mart, they are about

2 gallons each, they cost $13.
