Besides I have 4-5 cats waiting for me, one who was a 'Feral' bites me, when he wants me in bed with him. The big lug, I think he 'thinks' he's kissing me. He knows I'm the one who cut his ear, marking him as a neutered Feral. > Nice to meet you. kiss all your 'Babies' for me. Sorry for the book. I'll say Goodnight for now, I'm in screaming Pain. I won't sleep tonight. Pegi, My cat " bites " me when I am brushing him but wants me to. He wails at five am for my husband to feed him. When he wants company, he comes up to the dog bed that I sleep with and will sneak in the in the corner of a pillow and purrs so loud as he wants to be part of a pack. He looks like a Russian Blue and his gray hair is so soft as velvet but he sheds everywhere. I have my two cairn terriers (Toto dogs) and I do rescue work when I can but support a local and national agency, it keeps me focused. I too have family members who think I am a druggie. My Sister has the same problem your Sister does and I know what you mean if they have the same problem worse than I do. Well, you take care and hope your pain is better. I did some work around the house and I am paying for it so I have to find something to help me sleep. Take Care. Bennie

If she jerks the lease, it kills my hands and shoulder. Tami, I know what you mean about being careful. My recent fall was because my cairn terrier was under foot when I was carrying a laundry basket and I did not see him and I tripped and landed right on my right hip and sacral iliac, and my physical therapist said I knocked my pelvis out of line. I heard it crack back in place when she was manipulated it and she gave me home exercises to make sure it was in alignment. Two years ago I was going to walk them and the grass was wet and I have retractable leashes. My dogs were so excited about going to walk, they ran forward and the leash snapped when the line when all the way out and the jolt caused me to fall backwards and slid on the wet grass and then feel right on my back and all the way down. My head, back, legs, and feet really hurt. It knocked the breath out of me and I know now what that phrase means. I was lying there not able to get up, catch my breath, with two dogs licking me. My husband finally came as he saw the door open and took me in. I broke a couple of ribs and was in bed for awhile. A year later a Doctor had taken some x-rays and told me that I had broken my Thoracic Spine 9 and did I know it. I then knew I did it when I fell on my back. I really have to watch the stairs as they try to run in front of me and I am afraid of tripping. Even with fear of falling, I love them all and they are rescues. One had been abused and was going to be put to sleep in three days when a rescue group pulled her and I adopted her and the other one was walking down an Airport Freeway in Dallas in between eighteen wheelers. Someone got him to rescues and I adopted them and the cat was a bus stop rescue as he hung around my son's bus stop and we took him in. He owns the house. Thank you for sharing you animal stories. I really enjoy my animals my life is enriched with them in it. Bennie
