They are really programmable now and have large gel pads as in the past they were just of/on and small pads to stick on the area to be treated. They also cut off at the time you set so you do not use too long a time. I was impressed with the advancements but unfortunately, the impulses irritate my condition rather that help it. It is worth a try and like , it is not implanted and not invasive to cause scar tissue and the body's response of a foreign body as some people react to. I am glad some people are getting relief from these and I had one long ago after an abdominal surgery and it really helped post surgical pain, so it does work. Let us know if you get one and how it helps you. Bennie
Guest guest
Bennie, I already have the implant and my husband has a TENS machine. The years of humping with a pack and all of the other physical demands of the Marine Corps wore out his back and shoulders. He has dislocated both shoulders, had to surgically repair one and now is having back spasms. If I am having a flair that my stimulator isn't controlling and his back is bothering him we are both laid up for the day. Thank goodness our kids aren't little. LOL! > Bennie wrote: > Let us know if you get one and how it helps you.
