is back in the hospital again. It started Friday when we had to replace his

clogged gj tube. We had blood cultures before they placed it and a rocefin(?)

shot afterwards to help keep him from getting infected.

Went out support group in Cuyoga Falls with nurse and before the meeting is over

he has a fever. First, cultures showed no growth so covering GI Dr. said ride it

out with extra lactated ringers. By Sunday he was 105. and his new gj tube fell

out.

Spent 2 more hours in fluoro trying to get a new one placed. No luck. Told us to

come back tomorrow and they would try again. They were not worried at all that

with an 104-105 fever and a pylorus that doesn't open. Needless to say they

fever kept going and yesterday morning when our regular GI doc found out what

was going on she told us to come in and bring a bag.

Now we are waiting for more cultures. She's sure and so are we thay will grow a

gut bacteria. The new plan is when he is well again to place a separate j tube.

Does anyone out there have a separate g and j? If so please tell me anything you

can.

We are hoping to leave the hospital in time to make our 3 appointments with the

real specialists at the Cleveland Clinic.
