It's pretty common for symptoms to get worse before they get better when

going GF. It's very commonly reported. I was through the worst of it in

two weeks and was a totally new human by 6 weeks.

Stress will make your pain worse as well

so keep that in mind. I have fibromyalgia

and I used to get stomach aches which I

would " cure " crackers or a piece of bread !

Going gluten free helped my pain a lot.

Just remember that wheat isn't the only

culprit. Buckwheat, millet (toasted in a dry

pan before cooking), quinoa (rinsed really well)

amaranth, teff and wild rice are OK for me.

PS By the way, when I went off wheat my

stomach hurt and felt " raw " for at least a

week. Don't they say that your body starts

to crave the things it is allergic or sensitive to ?

new job! but I need to do this.

Can you recommend anything to help my body handle the detoxing?
