Guest guest
I liked reading some information from www.firstmilking.com Don't know if it is WAPF approved. You'll probably get more potent benefits from powdered colostrum as it has a much higher concentration. The first milking, between 6 hours, is the strongest. You would have to get that from a supplement as I doubt any normal farmer would want to risk his calves health. The first milking is also much higher in growth and immune factors. If you do get powder go for non-defatted, hopefully unpasteurized or low heat pasteurization, and within the first six hours. Have between 1/4-1 tspn three times a day. Colostrum has all the benefits of milk, with many more growth and immune factors in it. If you have blood in your colostrum, that would be a much stronger drink. It is also the most potent source of naturally occuring 5HTP. I was reading that growth hormone helps with slowing down the aging process. My farmer has some available from her jersey cow. I was trying to find articles on the WAPF site that may answer some of my questions, but have not found one. Basically i am wondering why one would/should drink it? How much at a time? Feed to kids too, ages? How long will it last before going bad? Farmer collected on day one which was Thursday, has been kept in fridge. Is it too old now? We would pick it up tomorrow. If one has dairy allergies would this help or hurt it? Not sure any of us have any but fear leaky gut for DH and myself. When we add or take away dairy from our diets nothing seems to get worse or better. Since we suspect LG issues would raw colostrum help or hurt? Thanks in advance,
Guest guest
Hi, I buy my powdered Colostrum from Lee. It is 100% Pure New Zealand Colostrum made by Sedona Labs. Guest guest
Sedona Labs is collected after 24 hours. Not nearly as potent as 6 hour colostrum. Immunetree colostrum claims to have grassfed 6 hour colostrum. I don't think grassfed is as big a deal to get for colostrum anyway. Grassfed is good because of it's pufa ratio, K2, wulzen factor, vit D, and CLA. However, with powdered colostrum, you won't be getting much of those anyway. However, it may better help with the body's incorporation of colostrum. www.immunetree.com Yours Truly, Dan Holt On Mar 17, 2009, at 9:55 AM, " Joan Lulich " <joanlulich@...> wrote: Hi, I buy my powdered Colostrum from Lee.
