Guest guest
Okay, here's another question that I've been thinking about and you guys probably have already hashed it out, but has there been research done of the male vs. female gender and ACM? Guest guest
Dear Debbie & everyone, When I asked the question about ethnic backgrounds a few weeks ago (and about neck humps) I also asked whether it was my imagination or if there seemed to be more female than male Chiarians. From all the emails I recieved privately there seems to be quite a few males as well... I think we girls just like to talk about it more and the guys stay in the background " lurking " and listening. There seemed to be no connection with the height issue either. Some of us are short, some average and some tall. As far as ethnic bachground goes it was pretty diverse too. Quite a lot of English, German, , Irish, and surprisingly American Indian -of several different tribal ancestries. There was only 2 replies from African Americans that I saw and just a couple from Asian descent. All in all, I don't think you can put a label of any kind on us. It seems we come from all walks of life in all shapes and forms. The neck hump issue was interesting though. Some of us have them and some don't. Some are very sensitive and constantly sore while others come and go, at times getting larger and smaller . Some of us were born with humps and others developed them after their surgeries. So, male or female, short or tall, thin or chubby, black, white or in between, hump or humpless, we're all just a big bunch of zipperheads! Why won't the Dr help? Beat the crap out of me. Next week I will see a pain Dr. I hope to get some strong med until my surgery. Gosh I can't wait. My Mom well she just love to nag me about anything I do. If I have like 4 can of sodas she complain, or b#tch about it and won't stop. I know she is my Mother but it's really putting a strain on our relationship. Not only that she is sick and dying (lung cancer) and I guess she want me to do what she want (controlling me) but that not going to happen. I love her but I'm an adult & not a child. loveyouhun
