Greetings from FICCI.

Recently, FICCI partnered with Population Services International(PSI)

for implementing Project Connect in Karnataka & Coastal Andhra

Pradesh. The Project CONNECT primarily aims at facilitating

industry's involvement in HIV/AIDS prevention in the State of Coastal

Andhra Pradesh. The International Labour Organisation (ILO) is the

technical support partner to the project.

To mobilise industry participation on this area in Andhra Pradesh and

also to strategise on key steps to garner more support from Industry,

FICCI, in partnership with Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of

Commerce & Industries and Connect Partners is organising

a " Conference on Corporate Partnership on HIV/AIDS in Andhra Pradesh "

on the 14th of March, 2008 at the Taj Deccan, Hyderabad.

I am happy to inform you that Shri G Vinod, Hon'ble Minister of State for Labour

has kindly agreed to be the chief guest at this event and Shri Chandrasekhar

Sambani, Hon'ble Minister of State for Health and

Family Welfare has kindly agreed to be the Guest of Honour at this

event. Other dignitaries on the Dias includes representatives from

ILO, APSACS FAPCCI, FICCI, Satyam Foundation, TNP +, Population

Services International and Vizag Steel Corporation
