Guest guest
Well, my daughter loves peanut butter. I understand peanuts are high in phytates so I've been buying them raw, soaking, drying, and grinding into peanut butter. I can't seem to find a bulk source of raw organic peanuts however, so I have 2 questions: 1-can raw organic peanuts be bought anywhere in bulk? 2-if not, what are the pros and cons of using roasted organic peanuts? I mean in terms of phytates? Can I still get rid of the phytates by soaking/drying? Thanks, Tamara
Guest guest
there are several sources listed in the WAPF shopping guide. here's one http://tinyurl.com/qrsc9 they sell a 10 lb. bag. If you want more just ask them if they have further discounts for larger amounts than that. > > Well, my daughter loves peanut butter.
