Guest guest
" And as a special message to the religious Christians… Jesus Christ did not brush his teeth! " Edwin, that is from your healthblog. I love it when medical discussions turn religious and even more when they turn political. I will take you to the mat on this one. I would bet money that Jesus brushed his teeth and not just because he was a public figure. I have lived in villages in that part of the world and poor people didn't use plastic toothbrushes -- they used a short stick (about 1/2 " in width and perhaps 8 " long). They would cut it off square, whittle down the bark, and twirl it between their palms. The xylem and phloem would shred into parallel but splayed fibers that would very efficiently brush the teeth. The brushing of teeth is for far more than health concerns. It is cosmetic, it helps deal with unwanted odors, and helps remove irritating particles, and feels good. Edwin, I would make a presentation to Christians that Jesus Christ did not use fluoride toothpaste. Happy Easter!! At 06:16 AM 4/12/2009, you wrote: >Tooth brushing is a failure. Guest guest
I disagree with you totally. The secret is what you use when you brush your teeth. After years of gum disease and cavities, I finally found a formula to remove plaque, etc. I have not needed any dental services in over 7 years. My dentist is probably upset--he says I don't know what you are doing--you have no gum problems or cavities and do not need a cleaning. If I had found this formula in my earlier years I could have bought a Mercedes with the money I would have saved--no joke. PJ From: Edwin Casimero <eesc@...> Subject: The failed paradigm of Tooth Brushing , cures for cancer Date: Sunday, April 12, 2009, 6:16 AM Tooth brushing is a failure. People around the world today brush their teeth like mad and show no good results. After more than 100 years of tooth brushing and advances in tooth brush and tooth paste technology, cavities are more prevalent than ever. Filling cavities and doing root canals is the bread and butter of dentists. Tooth brushing does not work. Tooth brushing does not prevent cavities. The whole tooth brush and tooth paste paradigm is a sham, an exposed failure. http://www.myhealth blog.org/ 2009/04/12/ the-failed- paradigm- of-tooth- brushing/
Guest guest
PJ, What is your dental formula? If you look through patent literature there must be a zillion formulas. One of the better strategies I have found is that developed by dentist Mark Manhart in Omaha http://www.calciumtherapy.com/research/ It is particularly useful for mobile teeth. Another is that of chemist Gerard F. Judd His book: " Good Teeth Birth to Death " At 11:24 AM 4/12/2009, you wrote: >I disagree with you totally. Guest guest
Ha ha, I wrote that section for my wife. It is Easter here in the Philippines and most Filipinos, including my wife are solid Christians. I read some tooth brush history here http://www.toothbrushexpress.com/html/toothbrush_history.html and if Jesus Christ did clean his teeth, it was by some other method, not the tooth brush we know because tooth brushes as we know now were invented in 1600 ad in China as the article says. Guest guest
http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2009/04/07/Warning-Never-Swal\ low-Regular-Toothpaste.aspx Since almost 10 years we don´t brush our teeth with toothpaste. We just sprinkle 3 drops of 3% hydrogen peroxide (3% not 30% .....) to the toothbrush and brush our teeth with it. Our result: No plaque, no odors, no dentist. pelcka Re: The failed paradigm of Tooth Brushing > Ha ha, I wrote that section for my wife. Guest guest
I have been wondering about various things about dental hygiene lately. Does anyone here get their teeth professionally cleaned? I have plaque on my teeth I can feel it but I am scared for my enamel going to a dental hygienist. This article praises oil pulling but I have never found anything but subjective, anecdotal reports on oil pulling. The mechanics behind it don't make sense to me. Maybe I haven't read the right articles. The person in the article said they don't brush, and I had a friend trying to convince me not to brush, but food sticks in b/w my teeth and my gums start itching if I don't brush and floss. I have heard different paradigms on the teeth thing. Some say tooth health is from the inside, others from the outside. I know I have very sensitve teeth and I used Uncle Harry's products including the remineralization powder and it really helped and I am really tough on products. I remain skeptical on behalf of their effectiveness on myself until they show a marked improvement. So this is an example of something topical that really helped my teeth. I am just confused why people say don't worry about caring for your teeth, just eat healthy. > > http://tinyurl.com/dbmjpb > > Tooth brushing is a failure. Guest guest
> > ...Does anyone here get their teeth professionally cleaned? I get my teeth cleaned at the dentist's office a couple times a year. I don't have any problems. My dental health has improved every visit. I use a dental pick and a magnifying mirror and scale my own teeth in between dental visits. Just scrape at the yellow stuff. tb
