Quinoa - Organic Vs Conventional..

A friend was telling that Quinoa produced in South America use very little

pesticide and other harsh treatments as the mountain crops are done in high

altitude and is almost organic even if it is not. He was not able to able it

back as to where he read it etc. And I was not able to verify this elsewhere in

the books I have on grains.

Any thoughts-

The main reason is organic Quinoa price is hitting the roof, and trying to see

if conventional will be decent for the price.
