Guest guest
I feel the biggest limitation to most diets is the lack of fat. I higher fat diet can revolutionize the industry. Especially health and athletics. Imagine that you would save so much money and preform better because you don't consume nearly the level of carbs. The reason why people crave carbs so much is due to a deficiency in fat intake. The only limitation to the supporters of high fat is that they are way too anti-carb. I think that because you consume more fat you get far more benefits out of the carbs you do consume. What's good about getting a balanced ratio of carbs and fat is that you don't need nearly as much dietary protein throughout the day. If the body doesn't have enough fat it will pull from protein which is better utilized for muscle repair. I believe the body will not need nearly as much protein intake because of this. The body burns more fat throughout the day than any other fuel source. It would make sense to make it a top priority to replenish it. Your need for carbs will drop by two thirds. On a high carb low fat diet two thirds of carbs are converted to fat. That is probably why some experts generally recommend to consume atleast 200g of carbs a day.
