Guest guest
Bennie, I have SSI but I first filed in Florida, got denied, refiled and then had to move to Illinois, had a hearing with an ALJ, denied and then refiled again and had to move to Michigan so with all this moving, the judge told me that my work credits has run out anyway. I was denied because I have a profoundly disabled daughter and the judge figured if I could take care of her, well I could work. Started the process in 2000 and got SSI in 2007 in Michigan. They are now reviewing again to see if I am still disabled. Yeah, at 63 I got better, and am dying to work full time. Actually, like everyone else, if I could have worked I would have believe me no one loves poverty.

Peggy, Sorry I didn't understand your point and sent you an e-mail reply as I could not see in this e-mail when you got approved disability just the times you got denied. Oh well maybe the information will keep someone else. I know in the Social Security online, it states that the review cases periodically dependent on there approvals and time periods. I am so sorry you had to wait that long and hope there are no problems. It can get overwhelming. Bennie
