Guest guest
I am having the county mini-van take me to town tomorrow to try to get assistance at an agency. Itt's a two hour interview process and helps get any assistance for which i am eligible. I found them on 211.org. They have suggested over the phone that they would like me to work. That has thrown me into major anxiety...I just had my disability hearing two weeks ago on the 12th. My attorney thru Allsup said they will be happy to write me a letter stating that I am unfit for duty. Part of me would like to try to work a little bit. I was made aware of the 15-20 hour week and max $1,000/month. I know I can't possibly work that many hours, but would like to hear a jingle in my pocket. At only 48, I worry how much value my disability check will have in ten years. I don't want to be so.cash strapped in the future like I am now. This is a.scary way to live.
