Guest guest
So tomorrow is the day I see this Doctor for the first time and thank you so much to the person that gave me that wonderful advice because you did make me feel so much better, but now I just got hit in the tummy with depression, our landlord gave us notice that we have to be out of our rental that we have been living in since July this year and his reasons are as follows: he figured out that he should of never rented the home out to us because of black mold and lots of things he has to fix and I really think we are being screwed over to say the least. he is offering next month free rent and then out Feb, how upsetting. my husband told him that we have no way of moving any thing and he said he would help us with a truck and trailer. Thank God I think I founnd a more affordable place to live that we are allowed to have animals which he said no and we will have way more space out side fenced in. so yes some plus but negative to be forced to move. I think he should have to pay us. we are low income and don't really know any one around here so it's by the grace of God that I found this place that I pray works out. I hate going into depresssion and this just made it even stressful on me. I will be going into that doctors office with my bottles of medications plus I guess I will write some thing down so I don't have that problem where I go blank. I have a list of crap that I am allergic to so I hate being stressed out. I wish I knew the rental rights laws and what he should have to do for us. I used to be so good. I do pray that every thing works out tomorrow. I will let you all know what happens at the doctors, please pray for my family and me at the doctors. God bless you all and thanks for being here. in Az
Guest guest
I know it is hard, but if your landlord is giving you free rent, that is payment. Also, the fact that he is supplying the truck is of value as well. Typically, with thirty days notice, he can have you move out. Hope the reduction in rent and the ability for pets is seen as a plus. God bless you all and thanks for being here. , There is a national number 211 that you can call and they have extensive lists of agencies and support organizations in your area. The man or family that you are going to be renting from and that is a plus and a contact for you to meet people. You could ask him about people in the area and what is good places to shop, eat, go, etc. I believe that he seems to be nice so that is a plus. , just remember that the holidays is a normal time for everyone to deal with depression as we cannot do what we used to and the memories of those times come forward and haunt us. I notice in your post that you are setting goals and understanding your situations so these are good ideas to ward off depression! I had someone tell me you can't be depressed when you are helping someone else so maybe volunteering at a Christmas Dinner in the area by serving or Salvation Army, I would sit on the stool and sing Christmas songs and ring the bell. Good luck and just know that you can find another Doctor and that there are many others dealing with or having dealt with the issues you are experiencing and it seems right when you are in pain, things multiple to take care. Take care of yourself and let us know if 211 helps you find support. here is the website for Arizona Rental Act from the Attorney General Bennie
