Pain meds for chronic pain

Hello every one

I have had just the opposite problem. My Dr. gave me pretty much what I wanted.

But in the end I was on 300mcg/hr Fentanyl patches and all the Morphine sulfate

I could take for break through.

In the end I had to come off all of it when I got my pump. The 2 months that I

spent coming off all of meds was the worst thing that has ever happened to me.

I was in terrible pain (in the 9-10 range) and sick. Never again will I let my

self get into that situation. I am off of all the pain meds now and will be

starting with Prialt in my pump this week. Being off the meds has be terrible,

but hopefully this new stuff will work.
