Mysterious illness help for friend

My friend is experiencing serious health difficulties which have severely

impaired his

quality of life. While he has been seen by specialists and many physicians, the

cause of his

ailment remains unknown. His symptoms which include sever physical weakness and

intermittent vision, and auditory sensitivities, have left him unable to

function normally

and he has to be tended to by a home care provider.

He is probably around 30, from Cameroon, and has been traveling and studying in

the US

for a few years. Other than this, as far as I know, he has been relatively

healthy. He is

currently in Dallas, TX (I'm in Florida). I think his illness came on fairly

suddenly and he is

now in near critical condition after only about 2 months of feeling really sick.

He does not

have adequate health insurance I believe, so some of his friends have been

trying to help

him raise money for his care and testing by pre-selling a book and a CD that

will be

published in a few months. He is a musician who has traveled around the country

and

touched 1000s of people with his loving and joyous spirit. It is devastating and

shocking

to all of us who know him.

He can only talk on the phone for a few minutes at a time before becoming too

weary, so I

could ask his friends in that area for more info. It sure would be nice to know

what the

doctors and tests have ruled out. Any other ideas on things I should ask to

understand

more about what's going on?

I feel like his friends there might think I am a fool for thinking I can help

find an answer

when so many other " specialists " have failed, but I can't sit idly by when I

think I might

have been able to help.

I have considered sending him Green Pasture's Butter Oil and CLO (not sure if my

husband

will go for it though, since we have not been willing to even spend the money

recently to

buy it ourselves...). Any other suggestions?
