Guest guest
I like Wilderness Family Naturals; they test for aflatoxins, which is a huge benefit relating to fungal issues. I buy a big ole' bucket of the stuff and it lasts me forever. I think I've had my current bucket for over 8 months, and it's extremely affordable for what you get. Great to cook with. Guest guest
Its not listed at all in the 2008 shopping guide. And no coconut oil doesn't have to be in a dark container. Many of those listed in the 2008 shopping guide are in clear glass. Guest guest
Was Nutiva on there? > > ============= > > It says it's organic, virgin, cold pressed (it doesn't say expeller pressed though) > Whole Foods also has it's own brand now that's organic and I think cold pressed as well. >
Guest guest
Nutiva is not in the 2009 shopping guide but I will be adding it to the 2010 shopping guide. WAPF just hired me to do the shopping guide. Woohoo! > > > > ============= > > > > It says it's organic, virgin, cold pressed (it doesn't say expeller pressed though) > > Whole Foods also has it's own brand now that's organic and I think cold pressed as well. > > >
Guest guest
Wow, that says a lot about what your research abilities. I am sure it will be the best guide yet. I have heard good things about Nature's way coconut oil from reviews of it on different supplement companies websites like iherb and I don't see a difference in processing b/w them and Nutiva on the lable but I haven't heard much about Natures' way in weston price circles. > > > > > > ============= > > > > > > It says it's organic, virgin, cold pressed (it doesn't say expeller pressed though) > > > Whole Foods also has it's own brand now that's organic and I think cold pressed as well. > > > > > >
Guest guest
it looks like a fine coconut oil to me. I will add it to my list of products to run by Sally before adding them to the 2010 shopping guide. > > > > > > > > ============= > > > > > > > > It says it's organic, virgin, cold pressed (it doesn't say expeller pressed though) > > > > Whole Foods also has it's own brand now that's organic and I think cold pressed as well. > > > > > > > > > >
