Hi Joy,

Thank you for the compliment on our family! We are very happy in so

many ways...

Doesn't it get to you the attitude this " educated " people have?

There is never " one right way " to do anything. As and I posted -

our Shriner's Hospital (where Emma & Ethan were both treated prior

to Iowa) are changing to the Ponseti method. It is very satisfying

to know that one doctor attending a conference can make that much of

a difference!

and I also talked about Dr. Ponseti and a dream trip to Montreal

to meet the staff at the Shriner's - that would be truly amazing to

have him visit us in Canada - hopefully boost the method across

Canada as well.

Aparently, rocker-bottom feet are one possible side effect to club-

feet. I can't recall the cause - but I have heard of it. Ethan

experienced no such side-effect. And from what I have read, I

haven't heard of anyone using the Ponseti method developing this

either.
