Question on fermenting Chutneys

I am going to make a chutney and if I am not mistaken you can use juice from

another chutney to drive the fermentation. How much do you use? I can use this

instead of whey, right?

yes, that should work. I would just use the same amount of juice as you would

have if you used whey.
