Guest guest
I just read on Good Eats that distilled water is not a good " conductor " for making broth. http://www.goodeatsfanpage.com/Season7/Stock/StockTrans.htm Anyone ever heard this? Explanations? Ways around it? Thanks for your knowledge and wisdom... Tamara
Guest guest
Never heard that. The only thing I've regularly heard about distilled water is how much it leechs minerals (which would theoretically be a good thing for making broth). But I can tell you I use distilled water for my broth, and it always comes out amazingly gelatenous. -Lana " There is nothing more useful than sun and salt.
