Guest guest
Hi Bennie, Thanks for the links. I read up on b12 deficiencies, but did not know about the canker sores. I never have that problem now, but used to. I know sugar, and high carbohydrates use up my vitamins, and if I stay very low carbohydrate, high saturated fat, I can manage with what I can absorb. It is said we don't absorb much of what we take in. My absorption gets better too, if I am very low carbohydrate. I get my D from cod liver oil now, and now take A from fish, not carotene, as it is difficult to make the A we can absorb from beta carotene. The A helps the D absorption. I take 2 B complex (50mg each) in the morning, with a 50 mg niacin that causes a flush, and another of those niacin at evening meal. Also take C 4 times a day-1000 mg, a E natural 400 units. I get about 2200 omega 3 a day, and fish oil A 10.000 units twice a day. About 1000 units of D. Most cod liver oils are low in A. I have had reduction in pain with the very low carbohydrate/moderate protein, high saturated fat, and these changes in my supplements. I stay in ketosis, which in itself reduces inflammation, and builds up the immune system.
